The latest STEM statistics show that women remain underrepresented in both Engineering and Technology degrees and careers. While women receive over half of bachelor’s degrees awarded in the biological sciences, they receive far fewer in the computer sciences, engineering, physics, and mathematics and statistics. Women remain underrepresented in the STEM workforce with the greatest disparities occurring in engineering and computer and mathematical sciences.
