Some of the worst tragedies and some of the weirdest moments in history share the same cover story: “We did it for religion.” We start there with a surprising modern example, then let Romans do what it always does best, strip away our excuses and show what’s really going on in the human heart. This message sits in the opening argument of the Book of Romans where Paul explains why people are guilty before God and why every person needs forgiveness, salvation, and the grace of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
