The Peoria Riverfront Museum is funning the exhibit, "We Remember: Stories from the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum." The display honors Charles (Chip) Chan, a Richwoods grad and the only native from Peoria to die in the attacks. His parents helped create the exhibit and will speak at the 9/11 ceremony at the museum this Friday.

This guest has quite the story to tell. An F-16 pilot, she was flying a suicide mission to crash into the hijacked Flight 93 to prevent it from reaching Washington DC. She aborted the mission when the passengers stormed the cockpit and crashed the plane themselves.
