This was a great visit with lots of laughs. The guys are very proud and excited for the release of the movie, which was filmed at TIAA Stadium (where the Jaguars play) in their hometown of Jacksonville, FL. Rickey and Johnny talk about why they're winding up their career on the road, but still look forward to hitting everywhere they haven't visited yet one last time in 2020.

We lost Hollywood legend Peter Fonda at age 79 last Friday, but Jim and Shelli had the chance to speak with him in the studio last June while promoting what will now be his 2nd to last film, "Boundaries." Appropriately Fonda played a retired drug dealer in a nod to his career-making role in 'East Rider.'
Fonda was an open book about his lengthy career and told us he was looking forward to celebrating the 50th anniversary of 'Easy Rider.' Jim and Peter discussed the movie's unforgettable soundtrack and actually got into a debate about who should be credited with 'The Ballad of Easy Rider'! It was a thrill to have an all-time great visit- he was in excellent spirits and looked very cool, donning some very sweet shades.

For IHeartRadio’s Icons series Keith Richards sat down with Jim Kerr to discuss the 30th anniversary of his acclaimed solo debut, 'Talk Is Cheap.'

Keith talks about the origins of the album, which came together while the Stones were on an extended break. He also touches on the personal kinship with the other musicians involved with the record, a gang of ace players he dubbed The X-Pensive Winos.

The album was written during a rare prolonged falling out between Richards and Mick Jagger in the late-'80s. Keith discusses how the rough patch with his lifelong friend and song writing partner resulted in lyrics that subconsciously addressed the tense situation.

The 'Talk Is Cheap' 30th anniversary box set features the remastered album with 6 unreleased bonus tracks, an 80-page hardcover book, new photos and plenty of cool memorabilia.

Bill discusses how he was the only member of the Stones to experience World War II, recalling the hardships and some shocking moments. Growing up in very modest circumstances he talks about how he built his first bass himself and provided the Stones with some of his homemade equipment in their earliest days. He shares how he felt about being offered to play with Ray Charles and having difficulty accepting compliments from acclaimed French artist Marc Chagall.

This week we have a young Jim talking very briefly with John Lennon in what looks to be late 1974. They discuss Neil Sedaka's song "The Immigrant." The song was inspired by and dedicated to Lennon and later released a single in '75. Jim and John also touch base on Lennon's long running immigration case which threatened to force him out of the U.S. This is goes by quick but Lennon is in great spirits and it's cool to hear Jim already talking with the greats just a few years into his career.
