00:30 - Best weekend of football this year? Whelo says it is definitely a forwards' game now.

3:00 - Louth-Monaghan review. The story of the weekend. Monaghan like chaos and don't know what to do against 14. Missing McCaul and Beggan. Louth have every chance of beating Mayo. Gavin Devlin guarding against complacency. Sense of trepidation in Mayo. Louth the more seasoned team.

11:50 - Mayo-Cork review. Mayo play a high-risk defence. Looked open in first half. Kobe McDonald hand pass under Cusack: in the old days he’d have ended up in the stands, but Whelo has to admire his confidence.

16:15 - Dublin-Galway review. Importance of the midfield duo of Peadar Ó Cofaigh Byrne and Ciaran Kilkenny (most underrated footballer of all time, says Nigel). Galway are very frustrating. Fallen short consistently. Padraic Joyce still a great manager, says Nigel, but time to shake things up with younger players. Losing 1-08 to a point in closing stages suggests issues.

30:00 - Whelo’s memories of Paul Clancy. Remarkable ball player, wand of a left foot.

31:35 - Kerry-Tyrone review. Brilliant game of football, epitomised all that's good about new rules. Did Tyrone expose chinks in Kerry defence? A lot of things went against Tyrone but they maxed out their capabilities against a slightly off-colour Kerry. Missed chance for Tyrone. Why is Kerry's kick-out so good?

41:00 - Ranking the four teams that remain.

How do they see Limerick getting on against neighbours Clare, and does Galway's gameplan stand up to the test of Cork?

While the lads also share a few ideas on how to improve the sport.

0:30 - Minor hurling final review as Limerick overcame Tipperary at the death.

08:10 - Limerick-Clare preview semi-final preview. Dowling reckons Clare were so poor in the round robin game against Limerick. After 13 years on the road are the Banner beginning to tire. Despite convincing scoreline, Dublin had lots of goal chances in quarter-final..

12:30 - McGrath believes Limerick are as good as they've been in last few years. Competition to even make panel is pushing performances to another level this year.

18:00 - McGrath describes Shane O’Donnell as unmarkable at times. Central to gameplan, but Clare need time and space out the field to deliver quality ball. Dowling says Limerick don’t worry about match-ups - defenders will play where selected and mark whoever they have to.

22:50 - Galway-Cork semi-final preview. That Leinster final performance is irrelevant. How good are Galway - was Leinster that bad or are they the real deal?

25:20 - Galway to stick with their blanket defence, trust their system. Cork to bring intensity and long distance shooters that Galway have not seen this year.

29:16 - Dowling describes Galway as not nice to watch. But fair play if Micheal Donoghue if he gets them to a final playing this way.

33:50 - Dowling insists something needs to be done with game of hurling. Keep three players inside the 45 and puck-outs go outside the 45. Try and solve the handpass problems. Increase goals to four points. McGrath talks about refereeing changes… more money to make the job more attaractive?

40:50 - Dowling would love to see players trying to buy frees this weekend have frees given against them.

The lads also touch on Lee's new-found fame as a Spanish World Cup meme and Brian catches us up on his travels - watching Dublin on his phone in a Malaga Airport queue that included Ciaran Whelan. That's a lot of Dublin midfielder for one airplane.

TIMESTAMPS

0:30 - Lee Keegan going global with new World Cup Twitter fame

3:10 - Everyone happy with their lot from that quarter-final draw

3:55 - Scary Kerry. Armagh brilliant for 35 mins, goal at half-time killed them. How do you mark David Clifford? Complemented by silky Dylan Geaney.

12:30 - Niall Morgan is the perfect test for Kerry. Tyrone will be fresh but this is a whole new challenge. Do they have the defence?

17:20- Galway next best after Kerry says Lee, based on squad depth. Can control a game and posess excellent kickers of the ball.

19:40 - Brian buzzing about Dublin. Very organised with Ger Brennan on the line.

24:35 - Both Lee and Brian pay tribute to Ciaran Kilkenny.

27:38 - Donegal burned out. Ran out of energy and momentum. Peaked too soon. did an obsession with Kerry cost them?

31:00 - Ross McGarry penalised for dropping the ball. ‘I think it’s ridiculous,’ says Brian. Black cards hurt Donegal more than Dublin, says Lee.

33:20- Mayo awful at half-time against Meath and red card a huge factor. Cork and Mayo both delighted with the draw. Hard game to predict, both teams have delivered very different performances.

39:35- Neither Louth nor Monaghan are ever beaten. Real belief they can make a semi-final. Stephen O’Hanlon importance going forward and in defence. Rory Beggan’s fitness is crucial. Could be the game of the weekend.

45:07 - Has the new format delivered? It’s a lot very quickly… little training if you’re not winning. Exciting for spectators, more space would be ideal.

Cathal Mullaney is joined by Shane McGrath and Rory O'Neill to preview a crucial weekend in hurling, with Leinster taking centre stage.
Shane makes the case for Offaly breaking out of Leinster, admitting he may have underestimated a side now playing to its strengths. With their fate in their own hands, the focus turns to how they’ll handle a new favourites tag ahead of their clash with Wexford (3:30).
There are growing concerns for both Wexford and Kilkenny, with both counties needing results. While Shane believes Wexford are in the more precarious position, he also notes Kilkenny’s dip in standards is becoming more noticeable as the season unfolds (11:30).
The panel also debate the championship format, with Shane suggesting counties like Kildare risk being caught in a yo-yo cycle between the Liam MacCarthy and Joe McDonagh cups, and argues for greater flexibility (21:50).
Attention then shifts to Munster (30:00), where despite failing to register a win, Waterford have remained competitive. Shane questions whether issues lie in squad depth or a lack of trust from management (32:00).
Old rivalries are stirring too, as Shane and Rory reflect on the intensity of the Tipp-Clare clashes of the 90s. Shane even notes a telling silence from the Tipp camp, something he sees as a positive sign.
The episode wraps up with predictions for all of the weekend’s action (59:00).

Kerry looked professional in dispatching old foes Cork, but the Rebels lacked a real game plan, according to the panel.

This weekend, Westmeath will try to stop the Dubs at Croke Park, while Armagh might finally land an Ulster title, two years after much of their squad collected their Celtic Crosses.

Rory is quick to remind Shane of all the Cork teams in action this week, with Barry Walsh set to line out for the Cork Under-20s and seniors this week - is there fear of burnout (3:00)?

There is a mea culpa from Shane (5:00) for his Clare prediction. He accepts Limerick very good without two hurlers of the year - the fact two spots were up for grabs spurred on the fringe players. But Clare weren’t ready to hurl that match at 2 o’clock Sunday.

The brilliance of Barry Nash is well discussed (11:00). His involvement in so many crucial moments drew comparisons to Ollie Canning.

Shane was reminded of the coaching of Eamon O’Shea watching Limerick's comfort playing in tight spaces, the Tipp coach used to have the panel play a possession game between the 14 and 21-yard lines, which left no space to breathe. This gave you an appreciation of how big the pitch is. Limerick have that approach.

This weekend Cork's depth to be tested against Waterford (24:00) with Ciaran Joyce and Rob Downey absences. Rory calls for subtle changes, not an overhaul. Shane is tipping Waterford, much to the anguish of their fans. He is encouraged by how they hurled in the second half against Tipp.

To Leinster and Wexford v Dublin (33:00). Time for Wexford to stand up and if the Dubs lose they could be haunted by that draw with Offaly. Tie down Lee Chin and Shane predicts a Dublin win, that could be a job for Eoghan O’Donnell.

It's time for Offaly to stop being so deferential to Kilkenny (43:00). Shane says they were more direct against Wexford, which suits them.

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

First up (2:00) the lads give their thoughts on the All-Ireland SFC draw being held before the finals. Whelo reckons it changes the direction of the conversation and raises the question of whether the "higgledy piggledy" structures should be flipped? Provincials a little bit lost between league and All-Ireland series.

Dessie says the draw is causing confusion, with Westmeath bandwagon fans wondering why they're playing Cavan in the Leinster final.

On Westmeath, Dessie and Whelo recall the 2004 quarter-final ambush. The former Midlanders manager reckons Westmeath will be fully focussed on getting players fit for Leinster final v Dublin (8:00), with all eggs in the provincial final basket. Dessie reckons Dublin are not in their pomp and it's an opportunity for Westmeath.

They look back on Monaghan's "incredible comback" against Derry, in the moment of the year so far for Whelo (17:00), as he lauds the swagger of Jack McCarron to kick that sideline after referee Noel Mooney saw the error of his ways.

Whelo is convinced it would have been a replay if Mooney had not changed his mind (20:30). Dessie says the confusion added to the drama in an 'incredible' game, with Derry left scratching their heads.

Whelo reckons you "have to feel for Down" (24:00) after the emotional high of the Donegal win, coming down with such a bang against a driven Armagh. Dessie says Armagh's fitness, strength and depth told against a Down side who couldn't reach the heights of a week earlier. How will they get up for Tailteann Cup game against a Leitrim side buoyed by their provincial campaign?

Whelo's memories of Cork-Kerry Munster finals in Killarney (31:00) are mostly positive, and he thinks the Rebels will have belief this weekend. A settled team in good form, who have been given a gameplan by Donegal in the league final. The danger is Cork being built up too much and Kerry playing the poor mouth with their injuries.

Preview of the Connacht final (42:00) as Roscommon look to build on a solid league and "top drawer" second half against Mayo - can their midfield dominate against five-in-a-row chasing Galway? Whelo asks if Padraig Joyce knows his best 15, but he knows the Tribesmen will have plenty of spirit and fight. Dessie doesn't think Galway will let Enda Smith have as much freedom as he did the last day, similarly Joyce will have a plan for Diarmuid Murtagh.

The lads rake over the coals of Mayo's heavy defeat to Roscommon (4:00) and the influence of a good (or bad) kickout under these rules. Can Roscommon back it up against Galway (14:00), who were less than impressive against Leitrim.

Down provided the shock of the weekend with their defeat of Donegal (18:00), with Brian saying Jim McGuinness is prowling the RTÉ carpark looking for the person responsible for that graphic. There is no rest for Conor Laverty and his team as they face Armagh this weekend, with Monaghan and Derry in the other Ulster semi-final (25:00).

In the wake of Munster semi-finals, the lads analyse David Clifford's effectiveness on the loop and the legality of the screen (30:00).

Finally they preview the Leinster semi-finals (35:00). Ahead of Dublin's trip to Portlaoise for Louth showdown, Dessie details all of Brian's travels from Croke Park during his storied Championship career and gives us the mood in Westmeath ahead of Kildare clash.

Shane rakes over the embers of Tipp's defeat to Cork (18:00).

With the Premier heading to Walsh Park, Shane fears for his native county as a fired-up Waterford will fully believe they can win after an encouraging showing in defeat to Clare (18:00).

Rory has faith Cork will perform well in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, as they always do, but Limerick are a formidable foe and the Rebels have questions around their long distance frees (24:00).

We need to talk about Kilkenny (33:00) and Shane would have worries about the set-up there after what he observed from the stands in Pearse Stadium on Saturday evening.

Finally, is it time to consider a four-point goal (45:00)? Rory thinks so after the clinker that was Dublin v Offaly last weekend, while Shane would prefer to see the handpass properly policed.

First Whelo recalls his one and only league final appearance, which took place in Cork... for some reason. He hasn't dwelt on it much in the 30-odd years since.

The league finals mean different things to different teams (04:00), with the likes of Wexford, Longford and Carlow placing more emphasis on it than a Donegal or a Kerry.

As to that Division 1 final (06:00), Whelo expects both teams to hold a little back ahead of Championship, with Kerry's lack of Paudie Clifford giving them a perfect excuse should things not go their way.

The Division 2 decider could be a clinker (16:50), with both Meath and Cork free to throw off the shackles, their primary goal of promotion already secured. Meath's familiarity with Croke Park and Cork's celebration of Tyrone win may play a part.

The most significant final is the third tier meeting of Down and Wexford (23:00) with Sam Maguire football likely on the line. Can the Model men come down from their Roy of the Rovers escapades against Westmeath, and even if they do, are Down a level above?

Carlow and Longford in Division 4 (26:45) have achieved their objective of escaping the basement dungeon but the carrot of a trophy for such counties cannot be discounted.

Finally Rory, the king of a championship format discussion (28:30), takes us through the new All-Ireland football structure, with slides for those of you watching on YouTube.

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

They also pay tribute to Michael Lyster following the death of the legendary The Sunday Game presenter over the weekend (00:30).

The football chat starts with divisions 3 and 4 (5:30), where Wexford pulled off the heist of the weekend to gain promotion ahead of Westmeath, while in Division 4, Wicklow threw away the chance to escape the basement, with Longford benefiting.

In the top tier, Dublin were relegated while Donegal and Kerry will meet in the final, with the Kingdom's draw in Armagh capturing Enda McGinley's attention.

Meath and Cork hinted at an interesting summer ahead with their promotion to the top tier, while Kildare's hopes of progress stunted once more by relegation.

In hurling (41:45), Shane fancies Cork as the All-Ireland favourites but has lots of Limerick men in his team of the league.

The Munster pair will meet in the league final in the Gaelic Grounds, with Shane strongly advocating for a Croke Park decider.

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The four football divisions are the more intriguing, and Peter Canavan joins Cathal Mullaney and Rory O'Neill to run through the permutations.

Hurling (35:00) has less on the line, but the de facto semi-final between Limerick and Galway does raise a couple of talking points.

There is much excitement around Mayo's visit to Tralee to take on Kerry (2:50) and not just because it's Kobe versus Clifford. Can Mayo keep the 'Moranball' bounce going or will Jack O'Connor look to continue his impressive league record?

Also on Saturday, Armagh travel to Croke Park to take on Dublin (9:00). Neither side has enjoyed the spring they would have hoped for... can Armagh find the net and can Ger Brennan find a few more wins while minding Con O'Callaghan?

High-flying Donegal travel to Roscommon on Sunday (15:45) with the hosts looking to bounce back from a poor showing against Dublin. Dessie believes the Connacht men need to show more aggression in the tackle.

With Monaghan hosting Galway (18:40) and the drop looking inevitable, Dessie explains how the drop to Division 2 is not the end of the world... provide you bounce back up.

Things in Division 2 (21:20) continue to intrigue, as Tyrone look devoid of confidence and Dessie asks, 'Who would manage the Cork footballers?'

Finally, with Offaly struggling in the second tier and a gaggle of Division 3 sides looking to join Down in promotion, Dessie spells out the gulf between the second and third tiers.

Shane details how he felt nothing went right for Kilkenny in Salthill on Saturday (1:20), where a lack of energy and an issue with their puck-out resulted in the county's worst loss since the 1950s, a result Shane joked even Google wouldn’t know.

The panel also consider how Galway have risen to their current status, with Shane adding that the real measure of success for minor teams is how many make it to senior, suggesting Galway as an example (11:30).

Thoughts also turn to Kilkenny's next fixture, against Shane's own Tipp, where a heavy defeat could see relegation for the 36-time All-Ireland champions, something he feels could further motivate the Premier County for the fixture (13:00).

The lack of need for goalkeepers in Salthill was another point of discussion, with Shane noting that of the 52 points scored, not one was a shot on goal, signifying changes in the game (14:40).

Limerick v Cork was next on the list of fixtures to discuss and, despite the two-point loss for the Rebels, Shane feels that experiencing Limerick's intensity will benefit them come Championship (16:00).

Shane explained that he felt Limerick have returned to their old set-up, with diagonal ball once again at the forefront of their approach. He praises Kyle Hayes for his unpredictable play and shares his thoughts on the 27-year-old’s ideal position on the pitch (28:00).

The chat then turns to 1B, and Shane expresses his belief that the division is the perfect platform for teams in transition to develop their panels - though still some way off the level needed to succeed in the Championship (31:30).

The group discuss the Lilywhites’ weekend performance, and Shane explains that even without Jack Sheridan they were still able to turn heads, adding that he thinks a big win is coming in Leinster… Wexford? Kilkenny? A few teams are thrown around, but either way Shane predicts a big upset come the Leinster Championship (33:00).

Lastly, the Dubs are discussed, with Shane explaining how he feels a League title is on the cards, complimenting the competitive nature of 1B as perfect preparation for the Leinster Championship (38:00).

In arguably the most tantalising round of fixtures thus far, much may be decided in the top two divisions.

Dalo describes Waterford as 'abysmal' in their heavy defeats to Cork and Galway but gives them some hope against a Tipp side who were fairly abysmal themselves in defeat to Limerick (02:00).

Galway and Kilkenny (09:30) both need a win to fend off relegation threat. Galway are building strength and depth again thanks to their underage production line, but the same can't be said of Kilkenny, where the well has run dry to an extent.

The biggest game of the weekend prove to be the most underwhelming, with real fears that Cork and Limerick (16:00) may engage in a bit of shadowboxing, with the potential for three or even four more meetings in the coming months.

Finally to matters in Division 1B (27:00), where Banner hero Dalo fully expects already-promoted Clare to go full bore against Wexford and all but condemn the improving Model County to another year in the second tier.

Meanwhile the balance of power may be about to tip in the Carlow-Kildare rivalry.

After a strange weekend of results in the Allianz League, football’s form lines are hard to discern.

Football Review Committee mastermind Eamonn reveals a few opportunities at opponent's kick-out and Cathal gets very excited.

Armagh lose another tight game (11:00), this time to Mayo. Lack of goals at one end is the problem, coupled with too many at the other. Are they overthinking it?

Meanwhile for Mayo the Kobe hype is disguising their growth around the field.

Kerry are in a good position, even if they're not pulling up trees (18:00).

Roscommon will be bitterly disappointed but Dublin impressed in the Hyde, with Jim Gavin era levels of efficiency in front of goal (20:00).

Cork systems failure above in Derry (24:00) as they feel loss of Ian Maguire. Scoring difference could cost the Rebels. Time for pints in Portugal?

Meath built on fast start in Newbridge to down their neighbours (27:10). No disguising how impressive the Royals have been so far this year.

Kudos to Wexford and Clare as Division 3 looking very interesting (30:00) with a close race to join runaway leaders Down in Division 2.

Hurling (33:19) begins with a chat about Shane Long's hurling prowess.

Cork get rare win in Nowlan Park without a plethora of potential Championship starters and on a dry day Shane reckons there could have been 5-6 goals for the Rebels.

But KIlkenny's lack of attacking talent in pipeline is concerning (41:00).

Hurling now a percentage game played by elite athletes (51:00) as team are set up to play a 70:30 ball to their forwards from a pre-determined spot on the pitch.

With some proven performers back on the pitch Offaly put in good performance against Limeick (56:20), who've lost Darragh O'Donovan to a shoulder injury.

After Ciarán gets his hurling days confession out of the way, it’s straight into Armagh and Donegal, where the ex Dublin footballer shares that despite Armagh’s record he feels they are still in a good place, though they had many missed chances at the Athletic Grounds on Sunday (4:00).

Kickout piggery was back as a topic for another week, and Ciarán comments that he thinks it is overplayed, adding that the lack of control for managers has continued to reduce kicking in games (8:00). While Armagh continue to be low on goals and two pointers, Ciarán expresses his lack of concern for the 2024 All Ireland champions as Ulster football continues to thrive.

Possible Mayo Messi Kobe McDonald’s debut is dubbed by Ciarán as “unbelievable”, and he explains how Mayo need a star like David Clifford to have an impact. His young age and future plans are discussed (13:50).

Marty makes a big prediction that Monaghan may be contenders for an Ulster final come championship season due to a “softer” draw, but Ciarán reflects on the impact of home losses on player morale and their poor league performances overall (20:30).

Dublin’s performance in their defeat to Kerry is described by Ciarán as a “difficult watch”, noting the lack of energy from the Dubs and their slow attacking play (22:50).

The Rossies are flying high, and discussion turns to the swings being seen in scorelines and the potential impact of the wind on results. Next up for them is the Dubs at home, which Ciarán feels is a winnable fixture (30:00).

Lastly, Division 2 is discussed, with Whelo saying he feels there will be some great games in the coming weeks (31:40).

When attention turns to hurling (37:00), Shane dials in to express his disappointment in Tipp’s performance on Saturday and says he would love to be a fly on the wall at their training sessions this week (39:00).

Shane also brings an armful of impressive stats to the discussion on Limerick’s puckout retention and feels panel competition is key to their success so far (48:00).

He is also full of praise for the pitch conditions at Nowlan Park but expresses concern about a perceived lack of emerging talent in Kilkenny to replace the likes of TJ Reid and Mossy Keoghan (51:00).

Attention then turns to Division 1B, where Marty reacts to Clare’s scare against Kildare, adding that he feels Kildare are the “best of the rest” and have a good chance of staying in the division (59:00).

Finally, Dublin and Wexford’s spicy encounter is tipped by Shane as an important factor in the Leinster Championship, and he comments that defensive coaches for both sides will be despairing (1:05.00).

Cathal, Dessie and Damian look ahead to an Allianz Football League weekend where arguably the Division 2 action outstrips the top tier, with Cork and Meath of particular interest.

Dessie reckons Cork need to put together a consistent 70 minutes to compete with a Meath team who have been turning heads.

Elsewhere, the lads assess Darragh Canavan's loss to Tyrone, Armagh's keeper conundrum and Kerry's motives as they head to Croker to take on the Dubs.

Also, with kick-out 'piggery' supposedly ruling the game, Dessie says a player of Paul Galvin's quality would be worth an astronomical value.

Liam Sheedy joins Cathal in studio (36:45) to preview the weekend's hurling.

The All-Ireland winning Tipp manager backs Kyle Hayes to fill the centre-back position for Limerick in the long term as the game comes to terms with the value of a sitting 6 versus a deep 11.

Waterford will give a good test to their neighbours Kilkenny, who are looking to fill a few positions.

After some good performances with no reward, Galway are in need of a result against Offaly.

In Division 1B, Lee Chin's return is just in time for the trip to Croke Park, with Wexford dealing with a dearth of leaders, while Clare seem to be getting the old gang back together for one more heist.

Cathal Mullaney is joined in studio by Niall McCoy and online by Enda McGinley to break down the third round of the Allianz Football League, a weekend that brought a somewhat unexpected Armagh defeat, a halt to Mayo’s momentum, and a notably aggressive performance from Tyrone.

Enda (1:30) reflects on how managers are struggling to exert control from the sidelines amid the heightened chaos created by last year’s rule changes. While the shift has been challenging for those in charge, he notes that it has made the game more enjoyable to play.

The panel also digs into Kieran McGeeney’s “piggery” remarks surrounding kickout battles. Former manager Enda explains that while possession is still central to modern football, the days of relying on intricate set plays are fading as teams become less consistent at securing their own restarts.

The conversation turns to Roscommon’s growing promise, the group debates whether Mayo’s re-found chaos isn't going to work against teams that maintain possession for long spells.

Niall floats the idea that Donegal legend Michael Murphy could evolve into a devastating “super sub” for Jim McGuinness in this year’s Championship, with Enda imagining the lift Murphy could provide if introduced during a difficult spell.

The panel then shifts to Tyrone (37:00), with Enda praising the side’s rediscovered aggression, energy, and attacking pace. However, he believes a few more players need to elevate themselves into top-tier roles for the team to fully reach its potential.

Finally, the spotlight moves to Division 4, where, with two Ulster men on the pod, the discussion naturally lands on Antrim. Enda shares his view that there is little reward for competing in the division at present and suggests the League may be a tough sell in a dual-code county (38:30).

But before we get to that Dessie relives some of his favourite Sigerson memories (1:00), including togging out with a (very) young Michael Meehan in NUIG.

Kerry v Galway is arguably the pick of the games (3:30), with Galway impressing Conor despite their permanent injury crisis. Arguably Kerry don't carry their usual fear factor at this time of the year, even in Tralee.

Strange to think it but Dublin and Monaghan has the feel of a relegation four-pointer (12:30). Monaghan depleted through injuries, retirements and Sigerson. Dublin's possible malaise is different and Dessie believes Ger Brennan is borrowing a move out of Pat Gilroy playbook by threatening to ditch senior players. Anyway, Dessie says Brian Howard would be welcome in Westmeath.

Roscommon are travelling under many's radar ahead of Armagh game (17:30), but surprising a few people, especially with no Brigid's players. Diarmuid Murtagh impresses Dessie with his efficiency. However Armagh's running power will test them this week.

The hype is with us early this year as Donegal-Mayo (24:40) sees a huge crowd expected in Ballybofey. Ryan O'Donoghue is tenacious and making huge contribution from centre-forward, reckons Dessie.

Meath looking buoyant (29:30) ahead of clash with Louth, with their return to centre stage last year reminding Conor of a soap opera villain. Louth dip to be expected after last summer's heroics, says Dessie, who knows a thing or two about ending a long wait for provincial glory.

Tyrone's early season form a bit of a mystery reckons Dessie (34:00) ahead of clash with Cavan, with Division 2 safety and Sam Maguire status already on the table.

(0:30) Ciarán Whelan gives his thoughts on Dublin’s loss to Mayo adding that he feels older players need to step up, he also comments that the Dubs do seem to be the most inexperienced team so far and highlights the midfield as a possible issue for Ger Brennan that may need to be resolved before Championship season.

(10:30) Ciarán comments that he felt Kerry sat deep against Donegal and it was Seán O’Shea that dragged Kerry back into it. He also noticed that Donegal’s panel are operating with more of their big hitters than Kerry.

(15:40) Kieran McGeeney’s comments about the lack of communication between referees and management following the three-man breach decision in the first half were discussed by the group with Ciarán stating he felt the call was incorrectly made and urges for a common sense approach going forward.

(27:00) Finally Ciarán makes a big prediction that the Leinster Championship will be full revived in 2026 off the back of strong performances from Meath, Kildare and

The Tribeswomen brought a physicality and ferocity to their game which Cork struggled to get to grips with during the early stages of the most gripping All-Ireland final of the season.

Ursula and Elaine agree that Cathal Murray was right to use 'disrespect' to fuel his charges, given they have now won three of the last seven All-Irelands before Sunday.

As regards Cork's complaints over the refereeing decisions, our pundits agree that Justin Heffernan got the big decisions right and both teams could point to calls that went against them over the 60 minutes.

Tomás understand why Donegal and Jim McGuinness have made a big deal of the gap between the Louth game and this Saturday's meeting with Monaghan, but he knows the messaging is different at training.

Monaghan come in as one of the form teams in the country but in need of a 'statement win' at Croke Park - Enda wonders if they truly believe they can win an All-Ireland.

Tyrone, on the other hand, despite playing no better than Monaghan, will truly believe they can beat Dublin and claim Sam Maguire. The battle around the middle will be key in Saturday's second game, with Tomás suggesting Dessie Farrell's men were slow to adapt to how new rules affected kick-outs.

Sunday's first match is Galway v Meath, and in Matthew Thompson Tomás reckons Galway have the best young footballer in the country.

While Meath have shocked Dublin and Kerry this summer, Enda says both defeated team were 'flat' against the Royals and it will take a performance above and beyond what Robbie Brennan's men have done thus far if they're to take down a battle-hardened Galway.

And finally to the clash of All-Ireland champions Armagh and Kerry. Despite the loss of their first choice midfield, Tomás gives his own county a real chance of causing an upset - if the middle eight perform to their best, the form of David Clifford will keep them in the game. All the better if they have Paul Geaney and Paudie Clifford fit and firing.

For Enda, it will hinge on how Armagh's super-structured defence of the arc handles Kerry's multi-pronged attack.
