Plus, they react to Djokovic’s brutal three-set loss, Shelton’s early upset, Zverev as the favorite with stars absent, Fritz’s racket smash, Draper’s candid struggles, and whether anyone should still be complaining about 12-day Masters events.

On this episode of Nothing Major, Sam returns from a whirlwind Cincinnati trip, complete with a no-training 5K and an awkward realization that Jannik Sinner had just pulled out of the tournament. The guys settle into a fun show covering Canadian pet peeves in honor of the Canadian Masters, from surprise tax bills and stacked restaurant taxes to the Queen still appearing on currency, no AC in Montreal, and the metric system.

They also preview Cincinnati with both Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz out, debating who’s actually the favorite while considering Zverev and Novak, and praising Cincinnati’s player amenities, food, upgrades, and Skyline Chili. Plus, they tackle life advice on whether a dad should ever “let” his 17-year-old win, how to handle witnessing an awkward locker room moment and pitch a tennis version of golf’s Internet Invitational featuring influencers, personalities, and a prize purse.

Canada has turned into a full-on bloodbath. Djokovic, Sinner and Alcaraz were already missing, and then plenty of the “safe” top seeds followed them out the door. Zverev calls his loss to Griekspoor his “worst match of the season,” Fritz looks cooked after his Monday final in DC, and Félix doesn’t even make it on court in his hometown because of a back issue.

The result? A wide-open Masters with a historic last eight: for the first time, every Masters 1000 quarterfinalist was born in 2000 or later, with 25-year-old Brandon Nakashima somehow the elder statesman. We break down Shelton vs. Mensik, Jodar’s rapid rise, why Canada creates so much chaos, and which young player has the biggest opportunity this week.

On the women’s side, Toronto finally delivers the heavyweight matchups. We look at the draw while debating Sabalenka’s recent losses, whether Iga is starting to turn things around, and a wide-open race to finish the year at No. 1.

Then it’s on to Cincinnati. How concerning is Sinner’s withdrawal ahead of the US Open? John thinks it matters; Stevie is waiting to see what the New York practice-court cameras tell us. Plus, Sam somehow turns his “query” into an Ealamania discussion... and, for once, we all agree!

Career-high No. 39 Eva Lys is our guest for one of our favorite conversations of the year. We chat about growing up with her dad as a coach, the friends she’s made on Tour, and why her social media works without ever feeling forced. She also opens up about the financial reality of life on Tour, balancing sponsorships with tennis, and why WTA is more exciting than ATP.

Before Eva joins us, we break down a huge week in Washington. Alex Eala's incredible title run has everyone asking just how high her ceiling really is, while Taylor Fritz proves once again why the North American hard courts bring out his best.

We also answer your fan questions, including whether a right-handed Rafa would still be one of the greatest players ever. Plus, how Alcaraz's new No. 3 seeding could shake up the US Open draw, dating apps for tennis players, an extremely serious ranking of Carlos' many hairstyles... and, somehow, a draft of the songs guaranteed to get every white person singing at full volume.

Episode 200 is absolute chaos from the start as Frances Tiafoe gets dragged onto the pod and immediately lives up to the hype. The guys relive Tommy Paul's wedding: Reilly's unforgettable speech, Tommy getting emotional, Frances losing his shirt, and John cashing a 5-to-1 bet with Querrey because apparently wagering on your friend's tears is perfectly normal.

Then Frances looks back on the moment he believed he could make it, while the guys roast his junior forehand. He also shares stories from USTA dorm life, questionable roommates, why he's a driving nightmare, and the early Tour days before revisiting his unforgettable five-set heartbreak against John Isner at the US Open, his awful head-to-head against the boys... and the locker-room trash talk that followed after John's retirement.

To celebrate Episode 200, ATP Tinder returns for Part 4 as Frances rates AI-generated versions of ATP stars, leading to nonstop roasting, brutal comparisons, and plenty of casualties.

The episode wraps with Summer Buy/Sell picks, Fan Questions, and a reverse quiz game... exactly the kind of hilarious, unfiltered nonsense that's made Nothing Major 200 episodes strong!

Plus, the guys cover Serena Williams’ long-awaited return to Wimbledon with a wildcard, her three-set loss to Maya Joint, and what it means to see the GOAT back on Centre Court.

Then they’re joined by former British No. 1 Kyle Edmund to talk about building his game around his forehand, his run to the 2018 Australian Open semifinals, the challenges of moving on grass and what makes Wimbledon feel so different from Queen’s.

Plus, the guys get nostalgic about their favorite Wimbledon traditions, debate seeds and wildcards, including Nick Kyrgios, make some early picks and close things out with a review thanks to our partners at Tennis Warehouse.

They also discuss what the title means for his legacy and Hall of Fame case. They debate whether Zverev can add more majors with Sinner and Alcaraz looming, then shift to the women’s final where Andreeva wins easily in straight sets ending the Cinderella run from Chwalinska and sparking debate about Andreeva’s place among the WTA elite. Sam Querrey and John Isner open from Paris after the Roland-Garros semifinals. They recap the first men’s semifinal that never happened after Matteo Arnaldi pulled out with an illness minutes before playing Cobolli, likely worsened by Arnaldi’s heavy time on court.

They then discuss Alexander Zverev beating Jakub Menšík, crediting Zverev’s high first-serve percentage and baseline control, and preview the final with the guys having Zverev as the clear favorite despite slow starts.

Plus they cover the women’s semis: Maya Chwalinska’s dream run continues after defeating Diana Shnaider with crafty variety and Mirra Andreeva routing Marta Kostyuk comfortably to set up an Andreeva vs Chwalinska final.

John, Sam, Stevie, and special guest Caroline Wozniacki react to one of the biggest matches of the year as João Fonseca takes down Novak Djokovic in a five set thriller at Roland Garros. The gang breaks down Fonseca’s incredible comeback, Djokovic’s stunning five set record, and whether the draw is now wide open for a first time Grand Slam champion.

Meanwhile, Casper Ruud survives Tommy Paul in another five setter, Zverev suddenly finds himself carrying favorite pressure, and the guys debate who’s left standing in a draw that has completely exploded over the past few days.

On the women’s side, Coco Gauff crashes out against Potapova, Iga Swiątek starts looking like vintage Iga again, and the crew closes with Round of 16 predictions, and one final argument over whether they could score a penalty kick against a Champions League goalkeeper.

John, Sam, Stevie, and special guest Caroline Wozniacki react to one of the biggest upsets EVER at a Major, as Jannik Sinner completely collapses from 6-3, 6-2, 5-1 up against Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the Paris heat.

The boys debate the controversial mid match timeout and whether heat might genuinely be Sinner’s biggest weakness, leading to a full discussion on genetics, body cooling, acclimation, and what he may need to change long term to survive brutal Slam conditions.

Elsewhere at French Open, Frances Tiafoe survives Hubert Hurkacz in five and celebrates by ripping the shirt off, Moise Kouame turns Lenglen into complete chaos, and Jakub Menšík wins a 13-11 fifth set breaker while cramping so badly he leaves the court in a wheelchair.

Plus: João Fonseca’s comeback, Novak Djokovic keeping the “25” dream alive, and the Alejandro Davidovich Fokina coaching split becoming the messiest storyline in Paris.

On the women’s side, Elena Rybakina suffers the biggest upset of Round 2, Serena Williams comeback rumors start flying again, and the crew closes with Round 3 predictions, bracket standings, and a looming punishment for whoever finishes last.

Something Major is officially back. John, Sam, and Steve return from Paris to break down a chaotic opening round at Roland-Garros: surprise exits, brutal heat, questionable scheduling, and a few retirement-era feelings creeping in. Paris also says goodbye to Stan Wawrinka and hometown hero Gaël Monfils, who may have given the fans one last classic five-set battle.

The guys revisit Medvedev’s latest clay-court disaster, while somehow Sam still thinks he’s got a chance against Sinner. They also break down Basavareddy’s fearless drop-shot clinic against Fritz and Casper Ruud surviving heat issues, a fourth-set bagel, and still finding a way through in five.

On the women’s side, most top seeds handled business before Genie Bouchard joins the show to break down the draw and make her pick for the title... a pretty popular one!

Plus, things get predictably sidetracked with heat complaints, stomach issues, and Sam accidentally eating 30 multivitamins because he thought they were gummy candy... just another completely "normal" pod episode!

John, Sam, and Stevie officially enter Roland-Garros mode, where one question takes over the entire men’s draw: can anyone stop Jannik Sinner? The guys make their picks, debate why Novak Djokovic somehow keeps showing up near the top of the odds board, throw out dark horses, and come up with increasingly ridiculous theories for how Sinner could actually lose.

On the women’s side, nobody agrees on anything. Iga, Sabalenka, Coco, Rybakina — the board turns into complete chaos as the guys make title picks, argue over who’s being underrated, and try to figure out whether taking “the field” might be the safest bet.

Plus: Most Beautiful Courts returns with absurd tennis postcard locations, and things completely derail during an overrated TV show draft featuring Yellowstone, Friends, Stranger Things, airport breakfast outrage, and several takes that may age worse than the Roland-Garros predictions.

Sam also discovers retirement apparently comes with paperwork and launches a search mission for the legendary ball kid from the Almagro match.

Then it’s Rome recap time, where Jannik Sinner keeps collecting Masters titles like it’s a side quest. The guys break down whether anyone can actually bother him right now, give Casper Ruud and Luciano Darderi some love, and wonder what exactly qualifies as cramps these days.

Plus: Svitolina shakes up the French Open picture, Andy Murray joins Jack Draper, Musetti pulls out of Roland-Garros, Carlos Alcaraz lands a Vanity Fair shoot, and Sam gets an unexpected orthodontic evaluation in the middle of Costco.

John, Sam, and Stevie debate their year-end ATP Top 10 predictions… and things immediately get messy. They somehow turn the Race to Turin into an argument, people start calling each other losers, and there’s already concern these picks may age horribly.

The guys also hit the Fan Mailbag, including a hypothetical showdown between 2011 Djokovic and 2026 Jannik Sinner, a trip back to Madrid’s old ballgirl era, and a juicy Life Advice involving an aggressively planned family vacation that completely splits the group.

Then, we’re joined by Nick Pachelli, author of The Tennis Court, for a hunt through some of the most beautiful courts in the world. Sam, John and Steve break down everything happening midway through the Rome Open, starting with 20-year-old Dino Prizmic shocking his idol Novak Djokovic, and what that loss could mean for Novak heading into Paris.

On the women’s side, Aryna Sabalenka loses to Sorana Cirstea while battling a lower-back issue, sparking a debate about whether Italian hotel beds are destroying players’ backs.

Things also get heated during the Fonseca-Medjedovic drama, where Joao earns our Major respect for courageously asking Brazilian fans to calm things down after the atmosphere started drifting into football territory.

On this Friday episode of Nothing Major, the guys interview lefty Cincinnati semifinalist Terence Atmane (“The Magician”) about doing card tricks, starting tennis at 7 after playing Wii, going all-in at 14, and nearly switching to Fortnite/Call of Duty esports during COVID. Atmane also discusses the Fermi paradox and believing in aliens, French-player camaraderie (including Gaël Monfils), sneaker culture, and a Pokémon collection he values around $500k–$600k. On this Monday episode of Nothing Major, Sam, John, and Stevie break down Jannik Sinner’s dominant run in Monte Carlo, and what it signals for the rest of the clay season. Is he now the player to beat on this surface?

They also unpack the final, including Carlos Alcaraz’s performance and the impact of the conditions, before zooming out to a bigger conversation: can Sincaraz realistically challenge the Big 3’s Masters 1000 records?

The conversation then shifts to the Iga Swiatek–Rafa Nadal crossover, a rare moment between two dominant forces on clay. The guys explore what impact Rafa can have on her as she looks to rediscover her best level. We also touch on Holger Rune’s rapid recovery, with a potential return in Hamburg sooner than expected.

Along the way, there’s a brief detour into Coachella stories, before the episode wraps with a look ahead to the clay swing — key storylines, contenders to watch, and who might be driving away with two Porsches this week.

Then… things completely fall apart. The guys attempt a “Below Deck: Tennis Edition” segment, building the ultimate yacht crew — and it quickly turns into what might be our worst segment ever.
