- Sandisk (SNDK) shares rallied as much as 11% on Monday following news it’s being added to the Nasdaq 100 Index next week and Citigroup boosted its price target on the stock. The memory storage company’s shares are up nearly 50% this month and trading at a fresh record and are up more than 2,500% from its February 2025 debut.

- LVMH (LVMH) shares declined after sales at its biggest division fell at the start of this year as the war in the Middle East crimped demand for Louis Vuitton and Dior products. Organic revenue at the key fashion and leather goods unit dropped by 2% in the first quarter, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE said in a statement Monday, worse than the 0.05% decline expected by analysts. Overall, group organic sales rose by 1%, trailing estimates. LVMH’s business in the region, which represents around 6% of total sales, suffered after a “very positive start to the year,” the Paris-based company said. The war reduced group organic growth by about 1 percentage point for the quarter, it said. The Middle East is “quite a profitable” market for LVMH and demand there is still “very much down”, Chief Financial Officer Cécile Cabanis told analysts in a call. Had it not been for the war, performance of the fashion and leather goods unit would have been “flattish” during the quarter instead of negative, she added.

- CoreWeave (CRWV) shares traded higher on Monday after Macquarie upgraded the cloud-computing provider to outperform from neutral.

- Shares of Dell (DELL) and HP (HP) jumped after a report from website SemiAccurate that Nvidia Corp. was seeking an acquisition that would “reshape the PC landscape.”The website said Nvidia has been negotiating for more than a year to buy “a large company.” Dell and HP are among the top PC vendors in the world. HP, based in Palo Alto, California, has 19% of the global market in the first quarter, trailing just Lenovo Group Ltd., which had a share of almost 27%, according to Gartner Inc., an industry research firm. Dell, based in Round Rock, Texas, had about 17% market share, the firm said.

- Oracle (ORCL) rallied for its best day since September after it made several announcements aimed at helping utilities cut costs with its Utilities Industry Suite. 

- Goldman Sachs (GS) saw its shares fall in trading on Monday after it released its quarterly earnings. The bank announced a surprise drop in bond- and rates-trading revenue that cast a shadow over another record quarter from the bank’s equities team, prompting Chief Executive Officer David Solomon to point the finger at analysts for setting the bar so high. “A lot of this has to do with expectations that are set in the research community,” Solomon said Monday on a conference call with analysts. “It was the 10th-best FICC quarter ever.” Goldman’s results offer one of the first glimpses into how Wall Street fared in a volatile period. Its equities traders rode the wave to a banner quarter, beating their own previous all-time quarterly high by more than $1 billion. But its fixed-income, currency and commodities business posted revenue of $4.01 billion, down 10% from a year earlier and more than $800 million below the consensus of analyst estimates, according to a statement.

- Palantir (PLTR) saw its shares sink this week amid a broader selloff in software related stocks. On Thursday, the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF, ticker IGV, fell 3.9%, closing at its lowest level since November 2023. It has dropped more than 27% this year. An index of software-as-a-service stocks shed 4.8%, bringing its week-to-date decline to 9% and its 2026 drop to almost 40%. The year’s selloff stems from investor concern that AI offerings will sap demand for services from legacy providers, weighing on their growth and pricing power going forward. The proliferation of so-called AI agents, designed to complete multi-step processes without human interference, has been viewed as a particular challenge for software-as-a-service stocks. Michael Burry, made famous by 'The Big Short' has argued that Anthropic is winning the race for enterprise AI spending, which also led to Palantir shares taking a hit.

- Intel (INTC) shares rallied over the week. On Thursday, the company said that Alphabet's Google committed to using future generations of its Xeon processors and other chips. Intel shares rallied nearly 20% over the week. The shares have also benefited from an announcement that the chipmaker will help Elon Musk’s long-shot effort to develop semiconductors for Tesla Inc., SpaceX and xAI.

- UnitedHealth (UNH) shares ticked higher over the week, signaling a potential comeback for the company. Most of the nearly 10% rally took place Tuesday, following a 2.48% increase to payments for Medicare Advantage in 2027, instead of an initial US government proposal that rates be left little changed. The final payment policy from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services was mostly seen as a reprieve for profit-squeezed health insurers. Medicare Advantage has powered insurers’ growth for more than a decade, but the business has become less profitable in recent years as medical costs rise and government funding dwindles. It was a shot in the arm for battered UnitedHealth, the nation’s biggest provider of private Medicare plans. The firm recently forecast a decline in 2026 revenue — its first annual contraction in more than three decades — and said it expects shrinking enrollment across all its major segments, including commercial health plans, Medicare and Medicaid.

- CoreWeave (CRWV) shares rallied on word that Anthropic agreed to tap data center capacity from it as part of efforts to handle increasing demand for its artificial intelligence services. The multiyear deal will help Anthropic build and deploy its Claude AI models, CoreWeave said Friday in a statement. The capacity will include a variety of Nvidia Corp. chip architectures at data centers in the US, CoreWeave Chief Executive Officer Michael Intrator said.It’s a “multibillion-dollar contract,” Intrator said Friday in an interview on Bloomberg Television. The companies declined to disclose precise financial terms of the agreement.

- Fair Isaac (FICO), better known as FICO saw shares tumble during Friday trading, hitting its lowest levels since November 2023. Analysts point to a recent podcast appearance by Mortgage Bankers Association CEO Bob Broeksmit as a possible reason why. Broeksmit discussed measures to help home-purchase affordability, including increasing credit-score bureau competition and called for modernized credit reporting and allowing market forces to prevail. 

- ServiceNow (NOW) shares dropped, extending a recent selloff following a downgrade from UBS to neutral from buy. Shares of software companies have slumped lately amid concerns about disruption from artificial intelligence service

- Simply Good Food (SMPL) shares slid as much as 22% after the maker of Atkins and Quest food products slashed its annual forecast as sales for the second quarter fell short of Wall Street expectations.

- Nike (NKE) shares edged lower after Piper Sandler downgraded the company to neutral from overweight on concerns that athleisure is becoming too saturated across the industry. Analyst Anna Andreeva says the sportswear giant is also a quarter away from lapping big gains in its Running business and worry that athleisure might be at “peakish levels.”

- Shake Shack (SHAK) shares rise. Mizuho Securities raised the recommendation on Shake Shack Inc. Class A to outperform from neutral, saying its valuation looks attractive with catalysts ahead.  “Our checks point to Q1 SSS growth upside, with drivers in place for comp momentum and restaurant-level margins ahead of current expectations as 2026 progresses,” analyst Nick Setyan wrote in a note.

Sun Pharma has completed detailed due diligence that lasted over three months and is now finalizing a financing package before submission of a firm offer in the coming weeks: ET.

- Amazon (AMZN) has raised $37 billion from a US dollar bond sale that could swell to nearly $50 billion with a planned euro debt offering. The blockbuster fundraising is the fourth-largest US corporate bond sale on record and the biggest that isn’t tied to an acquisition. The offering was increased from initial guidance of $25 billion to $30 billion. Amazon sold US high-grade debt in 11 tranches, ranging from two to 50 years. Pricing on the longest portion of that offering — a note maturing in 2076 — tightened by 0.25 percentage point to 1.3 percentage point above Treasuries, according to a person familiar with the transaction. Shares of Amazon closed higher in trading on Tuesday.

- Goeasy (GSY) shares dropped on Tuesday, in its biggest intraday decline in about six years, after the non-prime lender announced it expects to incur a C$178 million incremental charge off in 4Q 2025 against its C$5.5 billion gross consumer loans receivable, withdrawing its previously issued outlook and three-year forecast. - BlackRock (BLK) curbed withdrawals from one of its biggest private credit funds after client requests for redemptions spiked, the latest sign of investor anxiety about the $1.8 trillion private credit industry. The firm’s $26 billion HPS Corporate Lending Fund, one of the largest non-traded business development companies, said in a statement Friday that shareholders requested 9.3% of their shares, but management decided to cap the repurchases at 5%. While the total value of shares would have been about $1.2 billion, according to Bloomberg calculations, investors will get back about $620 million that the fund held at year-end. BlackRock shares fell as much as 8.3% on Friday, while the stocks of alternative asset managers including KKR & Co. and Ares Management Corp. also swooned, as they’re off to their worst start to a year in a decade.

- Roche (RHHBY) and Zealand Pharma (ZEAL)'s experimental obesity shot helped patients lose as much as 10.7% in a study, failing to clear a high bar set by some Wall Street analysts. The experimental shot, petrelintide, delivered weight loss with side effects comparable to placebo, with fewer than 5% of patients dropping out of the trial, Roche and Zealand said. The results came after 42 weeks of treatment. Roche’s American depositary receipts fell as much as 7% after the results were posted Thursday.

- Broadcom (AVGO) delivered a solid sales forecast and announced a stock buyback plan worth as much as $10 billion, signaling that its push to capitalize on AI spending is paying off. Revenue will be about $22 billion in the fiscal second quarter, which ends May 3, the company said in a statement Wednesday. Analysts had estimated $20.5 billion on average, with some projections topping $22 billion, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. But the company has also faced skepticism about its AI prospects, with Broadcom shares falling 8.3% this year through the close. They rose about 2% after the results were released.

- Coinbase (COIN) shares rallied one day after Politico reported that the company's CEO Brian Armstrong met privately with President Donald Trump. More broadly, cryptocurrency-linked stocks are rose in trading on Wednesday as Bitcoin rebounded after a selloff spurred by the escalating conflict in the Middle East.

- Moderna (MRNA) agreed to pay $950 million to settle litigation related to the delivery technology behind its Covid shot, removing a looming financial risk for the struggling vaccine maker. The company has settled all litigation worldwide with Arbutus Biopharma Corp. and Genevant Sciences GmbH over its existing and future vaccines, with no future royalties owed. Investors cheered Moderna’s decision to put the case behind it and a lower settlement than feared.

Shares of the tech giant slipped during trading on Wednesday.
