In 2023 when Becky was pregnant, she went in for a routine scan and found out that her baby had a complex heart condition that would require open heart surgery.

On top of the regular anxiety that follows the birth of a new baby, she was dealing with cardiologist appointments and constant fears about his health. Amongst the utter joy of getting to know her beautiful baby George, there were so many dark days where she didn’t feel like life could ever be good again.

Since George underwent surgery, doctors have said his heart looks pristine and he's a happy and healthy, thriving baby. Becky will worry about him forever, as every parent does, but she's going to do her best to hold that anxiety in and let him live his life as a normal kid.

A few months ago Matt and Ash had the brilliant idea to sign up to the City 2 Surf with the kids. What an amazing experience it'd be for the family (they told themselves). Walking all the way from the city to the iconic Bondi Beach with 90,000 others - including the kids in the pram - it's be something their familiar who never forget !

Only problem was, Ash had to stay at Matt's the night before and Oscar got attacked (only kidding) by the cat, their taxi didn't arrive in the morning, the pram got a flat trye, they almost missed the start and one of the dad forget to bring water. BUT the good news it.. the finished the race just a casual 3 hrs later.

Last weekend, Lola turned the big three.

When it rains, it pours, leaving poor Lola afraid that no one will turn up to her party, but even Ash makes the trek. Matt may have left the catering at the last minute and may have also spent waaay too much on a fruit platter.
