Olympia also speaks with Guide Dogs QLD’s John Officier ahead of International Guide Dog Day this week. John talks about the important role guide dogs play in the lives of people with low vision or blindness and some of the obstacles they still face when trying to access venues or rideshare services in the community. Finally, Director of Food and Beverage at Peppers Noosa Resort Andrew Wilcox calls in to talk about their preparations for this year’s Noose Eat & Drink Festival, including their popular long lunch event that has been going for over a decade.
