By the end of last Saturday 276,000 people had put down US$1,000 deposit to pre-order Tesla’s much anticipated electric powered Model 3 – this followed the announcement by Tesla CEO Elon Musk that the Model 3 would have a range of 346km and have a price tag of US$35,000 when deliveries start late next year.
